Watch Dogs suffering Uplay authentication problems for some players

Posted on May 27, 2014 AT 02:30pm

Ubisoft is currently sorting through Uplay authentication issues with Watch Dogs, the company announced on Twitter.

Users across console and Steam versions are reporting problems, though Uplay login is only required for the PC players to register the game. Console owners can bypass Uplay login when starting up Watch Dogs.

It does seem, however, at least with EGM’s efforts to get online on PS4, that these Uplay issues are affecting online multiplayer.

Watch Dogs is out now on Windows PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360. The Wii U version is set to release later this year. For more on Ubisoft’s newest IP, check out Josh’s review.
