Watch Dogs‘ main story will take the average player around 35-40 hours to complete, according to creative director Jonathan Morin.

“I would say the average player which does free roam a bit tend to reach the end within 35-40h. But doing everything is close 100h,” he said in response to a fan on Twitter. “And these don’t really consider online stuff in the mix…”

Morin also revealed earlier this month that the game would feature an eight-player free roam multiplayer mode.

Watch Dogs is set to release May 27 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. A Wii U version is scheduled for later this year.

Matthew Bennett, Associate Editor
Matthew Bennett finally got his big break with EGM three years ago, following years of volunteer work for various sites. An ability to go many hours without sleep and a quick wit make him ideal for his role as associate editor at EGMNOW.com. He often thinks back to the days when the very idea of this career seemed like nothing but an impossible dream. Follow him on Twitter @mattyjb89. Meet the rest of the crew.
