During a recent livestream, Ubisoft offered a look at several live Rainbow Six: Siege matches to give viewers a taste of what they can expect when they get their hands on the game next year.
The first match begins at around the 20 minute mark in the video above and shows off several five-on-five rounds. Each match begins with a brief set up phase, with the criminals given a chance to reinforce the house with various defeneses, while the Rainbow Six team can plan their attack and check out what the other team is doing via drones. Following this the siege begins.
The video offers a look at several gameplay tactics, such as using drones to check if rooms are clear before entering, using satchel charges to breach walls to get round the back of the enemy, and more.
Earlier this year, producer Sebastien Labbe hinted at a possible public beta for the game before its official launch.
Rainbow Six: Siege is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and is set to launch in 2015.
