Watch the 37-minute Witcher III: Wild Hunt E3 gameplay demo in its entirety

Posted on August 19, 2014 AT 04:00pm

Back in June, CD Projekt RED showed a behind-closed-doors demo of the The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, the Polish developer’s anticipated open-world action-RPG that promises to send Geralt of Rivia’s trilogy out in spectacular Slavic style next February.

Today, they finally released that same demo in its entirety for the first time. CD Projekt RED senior level designer Peter Gelenscer leads Geralt on a quest to find an ashen-haired girl—an endeavor that starts out innocently enough on the rough-and-tumble streets of Novigrod. But one thing leads to another, and the titular Witcher soon finds himself dealing with a bit more than he bargained for—including a certain instance of bodily mutilation.

If you’re squeamish, please note that the video has a few disturbing images, but if you’re ready to experience the world of The Witcher III and all of its dark twists and turns, you can view the entire 37-minute adventure below.

That time in 2004 when, suffering from utter exhaustion, he decided to take a break on the creepy, dilapidated—and possibly cursed—La-Z-Boy at Konami’s Silent Hill booth.
