We Now May Know The Date We’ll Find Out The Wii U’s Date

So, we know that the Wii U is coming out this year. Release date? Price? Those nobody knows—but we now might know when we’ll be finding out those details.
That date? September 13th, when Nintendo of America will be presenting a Wii U press event in New York City hosted by NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime. Gaming site Joystiq notes that the previous time such an event was held was in January of last year for the 3DS, where Reggie announced that the handheld would be hitting our shores two months later.
So, while it seems like ridiculously late timing to reveal such major details about the company’s next home console, that strategy certainly fits in with Nintendo’s style.
If we do find out a release date and price for the Wii U at that event, any guesses as to when the system will be coming, and for how much?
