Monster Hunter World is only a few weeks away from releasing on consoles, but PC fans will have to wait a lot longer.
Capcom had previously announced that the PC version of the game would release after the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, but it had never been revealed how much later. Now, in a short video released on Twitter, Capcom has revealed that PC fans will be waiting until fall 2018 to get their hands on the game.

“As for the PC version, we’re working hard on it right now and aiming for an Autumn 2018 release,” producer Ryozo Tsujimoto said in the video. He added that the team is working hard, and the tweet’s caption adds that the game is “currently being optimized for PC.”
Tsujimoto added that the team will continue to work hard on the console versions of the game as well, with many free updates, including new monsters, planned to be added to the game after launch.
The console version of Monster Hunter World releases on January 26th. We’ll be waiting for the PC version until fall 2018.
