Fortnite‘s update 7.10 is out now with a slew of festive gameplay tweaks, but Epic is keeping the game’s new Driftboard vehicle in the oven a little while longer.

The Driftboard was originally slated to drop in this latest update, but in a recent post on Reddit, Epic explained that the new vehicle needed more time to get right.

“We want to get you out there carving up the slopes as soon as possible,” Epic wrote. “However, our goal is to make sure that your experiences on the Driftboard are up to our expectations. We still have tons of quality of life and balance improvements on the way in v7.10.”

Leading the update’s patch notes is the game’s new 14 Days of Fortnite event, which will bring two weeks worth of large team and small team limited-time modes on rotation. This event isn’t live until tomorrow, December 19th, but when it drops, players will find a new large team mode appear every two days, and a new small team mode every 24 hours. The update also includes a spread of changes for the game’s Stormwing aerial vehicle and Heavy Assault Rifle, among countless other tweaks to the game.
