Nintendo has announced that it will begin selling the Wii Mini in US stores by the middle of November.
The smaller, re-designed Wii has previously been released in both the UK and Canada. The console will set you back $99 and comes bundled with a free copy of Mario Kart Wii. “Wii mini offers the same fun experience as Wii, which has been enjoyed by millions of people around the world,” said Nintendo Of America executive vice president of sales and marketing Scott Moffitt.
“And it comes packaged with Mario Kart Wii, a multiplayer Mario racing game that is one of the best-selling Wii games. At such a great price, it is an extraordinary value for shoppers this holiday season.”
The Wii Mini features a manual release top-loading disc tray, no Internet connectivity options, and no GameCube support.
