Wikipad, a 7-inch Android gaming tablet, will be vaiilable for purchase June 11 for $249, Wikipad the company announced today.

The Wikipad features a 7-inch tablet with a detachable game controller peripheral that frames the device and features the usual accoutrement of gaming inputs: two analog sticks, a d-pad, four face buttons, bumpers, triggers, and select/start buttons. The tablet boasts a 1280×800 IPS display, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of on-board flash memory, and runs on a 1.4 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.

The 7-inch Wikipad will be available for purchase through Walmart and Best Buy’s websites, as well as Tiger Direct, on June 11 in North America, e’rywhere else in the world sometime this summer.
