Sony and J.K. Rowling’s PlayStation 3 exclusive is apparating just in time for the holiday rush. Wonderbook: Book of Spells has been confirmed for a November 13th launch in North America, with a bundle to boot.
If you already own a PlayStation Eye accessory and a PS Move controller, you can pick up the game and the augmented reality Wonderbook peripheral for just 40 bucks.
For everyone else who doesn’t own either tool, there’s also an $80 bundle that packs in each of the two accessories with the game and the book—a package that actually might save you more than 30 bucks in the long run.
Getting a PS Move its own costs $30 for just the motion controller itself, while the PlayStation Eye is $20 on average. There’s also the PS Move “navigation controller” to make things more complicated, which goes for 20 bucks, too.
Book of Spells is the only game launching with the Wonderbook, but more will follow soon enough.
Sony’s London studio has already announced that Diggs Nightcrawler and Walking With Dinosaurs (based on the BBC series) will both be releasing in due time.
