Words With Friends, Draw Something Joining Windows Phone’s 100,000 Apps
Posted on June 20, 2012 AT 01:05pm
Microsoft is hosting an event today entirely dedicated to the Windows Phone, and they’re touting two better-late-than-never additions to their marketplace. Alongside their 100,000 apps, Words With Friends and Draw Something will be two of the newest titles debuting in the smartphone’s gaming lineup.
This was one of several announcements made during the conference today, as Microsoft touted the Windows Phone 8 and its various features, including true multitasking, in-app purchases, and several interface tweaks.
Both of these titles will be Zynga’s first on the Windows Phone, although the release window has been left to “later this year.” Between Facebook, iPhones, iPads, Google Play, and Android devices, we’re sure that you’ll have no problem waiting.
