Yesterday Microsoft announced during its E3 press conference that World of Tanks would be making the jump from PC to Xbox 360, and now we know that players can start enjoying the game from this weekend, if they’re lucky.
Registration for the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition beta opened up yesterday and a Wargaming.net spokesperson has told Polygon that the developer hopes to start letting people into the beta this weekend. The beta is designed to stress test the servers to see how multiplayer matchmaking holds up, the spokesperson added.
40 German and U.S. tanks will be available to play with during the beta with around 60 available once the game launches. New tanks from other countries will be made available as add-ons after launch.
