Wargaming.net has announced that World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition‘s beta servers will be taking offline for a few days later this week to prepare for the game’s final release.
From January 29 at 7:00 a.m. UTC (January 28 at 11:00 p.m. PST) the servers will be taken offline. When the servers come back online the game will still only be accessible by beta participants, but in-game purchases will now be live—with all purchases carrying over to the final release. In-game progress, such as earned tanks and XP, will be reset, but all tank awards earned will be in the garage. Finally Avatar awards and Achievements will be implemented.
“Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your diligent contributions, feedback, and patience. It was only with your help and dedication that World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition could realize its full potential,” the developer wrote. “More news to follow. Keep watching for more exciting updates!”
