World of Warcraft player reaches level 90 without choosing a faction

Posted on June 24, 2014 AT 04:24am

World of Warcraft player DoubleAgent has managed to reach level 90 with a faction neutral Pandaren, something that no other player has achieved.

He has spent 173.5 days of play time in the Pandaren level 1-10 starting zone slowing leveling by gathering nodes. Upon leaving the starting zone you are asked to either choose Horde or Alliance, something that DoubleAgent didn’t want to do, so he was trapped there.

His journey began back in September 2012, and on June 21 he finally achieved his goal. Now he plans to level this character to 100 once the Warlords of Draenor expansion launches.

When asked if it was boring, he replied: ”At times I can find it relaxing, a change from the normal. Plus it’s pretty easy to do when I have TV shows or movies that I need to catch up on, more so than trying to do that during a battleground or raid.”

“Congratulations Doubleagent! :D,” Blizzard community manager Rygarius said on the official forums.
