Activision has announced that World of Warcraft subscriptions are back on the up following the release of the game’s latest expansion.

The numbers are now back up passed the 10 million mark following a drop down to 9.1 million at the end of the previous quarter. This increase is the result of the Mists of Pandaria expansion releasing, bringing a lot of players back to the game.

The expansion managed to sell 2.7 million copies during its first week of sale.
