World of Warcraft‘s Garrisons, which will be introduced with the Warlords of Draenor expansion, will not require in-game gold to purchase, Blizzard has revealed.
Garrisons are basically WoW‘s answer to player housing. However, instead of just a single house, Garrisons offer players their very own towns, with several upgradable buildings and followers that can be sent out on missions.
When asked how much a Garrison would cost on Twitter, Senior Game Designer Jeremy Feasel revealed that it wouldn’t cost any in-game gold and would have its own resource.
Warlords of Draenor is set to release later this year. Players who purchase the expansion will receive on free level 90 character boost, which is available to use before the expansion launches.
.@RyanMcAtee Garrisons have their own resource, more on this soon!
