WWDC: Apple Updates Entire MacBook Air Line

Apple’s Phil Schiller introduced a completely revamped MacBook line-up during WWDC 2012 this morning in San Francisco’s Moscone Center. From the MacBook Air to the MacBook Pro, Schiller touted all-new specs for updated machines with better graphics, USB 3.0 support, and more processing power.
Leading the show, the new MacBook Air was announced, boasting the following improvements and upgrades:
- Up to 2.0GHz Dual-core i7
- Ability to turbo-boost up to 3.2GHz
- Up to 8GB 1600MHz memory
- Up to 60% faster graphics
- Up to 512GB Flash storage, with 2x faster 500MBps read speed
- USB 3.0 compatibility
For those of you who like portable gaming on your MacBook Air, this is good news, as the new upgrades listed here mean your next system will more easily be able to run that copy of TERA or Diablo III. Every new model announced is also shipping today.
