WWE 2K

2K has released a new trailer for WWE 2K19 that shows off gameplay footage from this year’s Showcase mode.

This year Showcase mode will follow WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan through his early matches, unexpected retirement, and comeback at Wrestlemania 34. Players will play matches from his career and must complete historically accurate objectives to unlock in-game content.

Showcase mode will feature 12 matches, nine historic arenas, 11 different Daniel Bryan models, 20 story cutscenes, eight new entrances, and 11 new victory scenes.

“2K Showcase is a story-driven, single-player campaign mode that traditionally covers a particular era or rivalry of a WWE Superstar,” Visual Concepts explained last month. “The mode features historic WWE footage that gives context and backstory to the objective-based matches the user plays through. Achieving objectives often triggers mid-match cinematic cutscenes that allow the user to recreate historic moments on their way to victory.”

WWE 2K19 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC from October 9th, 2018.
