Xbox 360 Finally Get Its $50 Price Cut, All Holiday Bundles Now $250

Microsoft has claimed the Xbox 360 as the gaming industry’s best-selling console for almost two years. Now, they have a little extra incentive for the few buyers that haven’t made the plunge just yet.
The Xbox 360 has gotten a price cut for holiday bundles, taking the usual $299.99 price down to $249.99.
Here’s the breakdown of each bundle, and what you’re getting for the 250-dollar tag:
- Xbox 360 250GB w/ Skyrim (downloaded) and Forza Motorsport 4
- Xbox 360 250GB w/ Halo Reach (downloaded) and Fable III
- Xbox 360 250GB (Elite)
- Xbox 360 4GB w/ Kinect Sensor
- Xbox 360 4GB w/ Kinect: Disneyland Adventures and Kinect: Adventure
All the newly priced configurations are on sale now at GameStop, Best Buy, Kmart, Target and Amazon. Expect those prices to last through the year, especially in anticipation of Black Friday and Christmas sales, plus New Year’s Eve.
But if the prices are going down this early, what will happen as more and more retailers try to one-up each other? Bundle prices probably won’t lower any more than now, but it wouldn’t be unusual to see rebates and extra free offers.
