Microsoft may be slashing Xbox 360 prices for the holiday season in North America, but it appears the U.K. is getting so such luck. Although all holiday bundles will be available, they’ll be normally priced.

MCV talked to Microsoft about the pricing discrepancy, and got the bad news in rather cold fashion:

But when asked by MCV whether we’d see anything similar in the UK, Microsoft simply sent what it described as a “full list of Xbox bundles available this holiday”.

• 250GB Holiday Value bundle inc. Skyrim and Forza 4 – £199
• 250 Kinect Holiday bundle including Kinect, Kinect Adventures, Dance Central 2 and Kinect Sports – £299
• 4GB Kinect Holiday Value bundle including Kinect, Kinect Adventures and Kinect Disneyland – £249
• 4GB Kinect and Nike+ Kinect Training bundle – £269
• 320GB Halo 4 Limited Edition console – £269
• 4GB White Gloss bundle – £149

Depending on whether or not Kinect is important to buyers, it seems like the Halo 4 and Skyrim/Forza 4 bundles provide the best value for new Xbox 360 owners.

By region, the Xbox 360 has sold best in North America by far, with 38.5 million consoles sold, according to VG Chartz. It hasn’t sold as well in Europe and Japan sales have been practically non-existent since launch.
