It wasn’t long ago that Trials Evolution broke the record for highest single-day sales on Xbox Live Arcade. Now, that record has been shattered yet again—by Minecraft.

So, yeah—I put up my review of the game yesterday, and I wasn’t exactly pleased with how the XBLA version of Minecraft turned out. Doesn’t seem like many people agreed with me, however—Minecraft XBLA now has the best first-day sales in the history of the service, eclipsing even Trials Evolution.

Two record-breaking releases for XBLA in the span of two weeks. Crazy.
