PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Xbox and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have announced a summer sweepstakes that will award a few lucky winners with some fantastic prizes, including a PUBG-inspired bus.

According to Xbox Wire, fans of the battle royale game have until September 3rd to enter for a chance to win one of three prize packages. The grand prize is the clear standout, as the winner will receive a one-of-a-kind bus created by West Coast Customs.

In the video below, Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg and Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene show off the details of the yellow and black ride, including a glowing green Xbox logo on the grill, frying pans for side mirrors, and a setup in the interior to play the multiplayer game on the road.

For the millions that don’t end up winning, they still have a chance to see the PUBG bus in person. From July 19th to the 22nd, the custom car will be parked at San Diego’s Petco Park near this year’s Comic-Con festivities. More prizes are up for grabs, and a special Xbox Live Sessions featuring PlayerUnknown himself will take place inside the bus on July 19th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. PT. The bus will then head to PAX West in Seattle in late August, giving fans another chance to check it out before it heads off to the contest winner.

As for the other goodies in the sweepstakes, the first place winner will get a Samsung QLED TV, the Xbox One X PUBG bundle, an Xbox Elite wireless controller, and a three-month membership to both Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass. Ten other lucky players can also win the second prize, a copy of PUBG and an Xbox Elite wireless controller.

For those interested in participating in the event, submissions can be made on the official Summer of PUBG site. Alternate entry methods, using Twitter and Instagram hashtags, are available too.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available for Xbox One and PC.
