New Xbox Live users and Silver members will get a chance to experience a whole host of Xbox Live Gold features for free this weekend, Microsoft has announced.

The free Gold weekend began yesterday, November 29 and is set to run until December 2. Players will have access to features like online multiplayer, Internet Explorer, and much more. Major Nelson said, “We’re unlocking Xbox LIVE Gold in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States.”

For some reason Europe appears to be excluded from this free weekend.
