Microsoft’s Major Nelson has announced that Xbox Live Gold will be for anyone, everyone, everywhere, this coming weekend. Well, as long as you live in U.S., Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Chile.

Staring on June 1st and going throughout June 3rd, Xbox Live Gold will be celebrating the launch of several media services newly added to the network. For the United States, it’s the Amazon Instant Video app, although you’ll need a paid Amazon Prime subscription/membership to take advantage of the video library.

Around the rest of the world, Xbox 360 owners in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan are getting access to MLB.TV while Australia and New Zealand get free music videos on MUZU.TV. Meanwhile, Spain’s Xbox Live service is signing on with the Antena 3 app, which is filled with content from one of the country’s largest TV channels.
