Like it or not, the 2012 Presidental Election is getting more and more presence on Xbox Live. As such, some election content can now net you Avatar prizes.
As announced on Xbox.com, Xbox 360 owners can now earn special-edition “Halo 4 Warrior Avatar Armor” by watching some upcoming presidential debates. However, there is a catch—you won’t get credit for just one, requiring you to watch three our of four of these live streaming events:
- October 3, 2012: Presidential Debate on Foreign Policy
- October 11, 2012: Vice-Presidential Debate
- October 16, 2012: Presidential Debate on Domestic Policy
- October 22, 2012: Presidential Debate
Debate coverage will be viewable in real time on Xbox Live, and Microsoft is encouraging people to get further involved on Twitter. Watching each debate in its entirety isn’t required, though—just turn them on and let each one run for 30 minutes.
