If you’re one of the few, the stubborn, the single-players out there who do not have an Xbox Live Gold membership on your Xbox, Microsoft is throwing an event just for you.

Running from October 27th through October 30th, all Xbox Live members?even those without a Gold Membership?will be able to play online for free as part of the Multiplayer All-Access event. This means you may be getting a text from your friend Jeff, who believes that all premium subscription services are elaborate scams, asking you to join them online this weekend so they can finally unlock some achievements that require multiplayer, so be warned.

In addition to free game-time, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is free during that time period, so grab it and enjoy!
