As of today, August 14th, Xbox Live is now 9 years old.
The service has helped shape the way that console gamers socialize in this online age and will probably continue to do so for many more years.
The oldest Gamertag on the service is “e” and it belongs to Microsoft’s Operation Manager for Xbox Live, Eric Neustradter who posted a picture of his profile on twitter.
The Xbox Live service wasn’t available to the general public on August 14th 2002 however, this didn’t happen until November 15th.
