Xbox One

Xbox has announced a limited-time promotion that will make the decision to buy an Xbox One X just a little bit easier, as long as you can wait a few more days.

Starting on April 1st, Xbox will knock $20 off an Xbox One X enhanced game with the purchase of a new Xbox One X. The announcement doesn’t clarify how long this offer will last.

The Xbox One X enhanced games list currently accounts for over 130 titles. Not all of them are 4K or HDR compatible, though, so you’ll want to pay attention when making your decision on which game to choose. I can personally recommend Assassin’s Creed Origins if you haven’t already played that, because it looks pretty banging on a 4K TV. If you’re looking for a new title, Far Cry 5 is also supposed to be one of the best Xbox One X enhanced titles yet, according to Digital Foundry. You can find more recommendations on our original review of the Xbox One X.

In addition to Xbox One games, some Xbox 360 games are getting the enhanced treatment, too. These enhancements include a 9X increase in pixel counts and some even include HDR lighting. The Witcher 2: Assassins of KingsCrackdownFable Anniversary, and Forza Horizon were just added to the list.

Xbox probably knows that this deal isn’t a system seller. Heck, if you’re willing to hand over $500 for a console (not to mention the money you already spent on a 4K HDR TV), $20 probably won’t make or break the bank for you. But, hey, it’s better than nothing.
