The Xbox One will allow gamers to start playing a game as it’s downloading, a Microsoft representative informed Polygon.

This feature is similar to the PlayStation 4’s, which allows all games to be started a little ways into their download. The Xbox One had this system in place for disc-based installs (that is, a system that would allow players to start a game while it was still installing, but Microsoft never commented on whether it applied to digital downloads as well.

The Xbox One will hit store shelves this November for $499.
