Microsoft appears to be testing out a new feature for Xbox One that will allow players free access to certain titles for 24 hours.

Last night, U.S. users (via Reddit) taking part in the Xbox One Preview Program noticed that Max: The Curse of Brotherhood was available free alongside the Games with Gold titles Strike Suit Zero and Crimson Dragon. The game was listed under the label “Free Play Day with Gold,” which appears to offer 24 hours of access for free, similar to Steam’s free weekends.

A tweet from Xbox Support also suggests that this new program could be announced soon.

We’ll update this post once more information is available.
