According to the “Get the Facts” page on the official Xbox One website, Kinect voice commands will only be available in five markets when the console launches in November.
Of the 13 territories Xbox One will launch in come November, voice commands will only be available to users in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, and Germany. The voice command functionality will not be initially available in the remaining markets: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and New Zealand.
The post makes no mention of when voice commands will be available in regions outside the five aforementioned ones. Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that the Xbox One’s launch would be delayed in eight European markets: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
