The price for Project Scorpio, now officially the Xbox One X, is about as costly as expected.

Microsoft’s new console will run players $499. Comparatively, Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro launched for only $399, however, Microsoft’s new system will boast notably more power.

The Xbox One X’s release date and design was also announced during the same press briefing, launching November 7th, 2017.
