Xbox SmartGlass Launches This Week

Microsoft has announced that its new era of multi-screen entertainment is set to begin this week with the release of Xbox SmartGlass.
This new feature will allow games, movies, and media to be shared across consoles, PCs, tablets, and smartphones. The service is due to launch October 26 with support for Windows 8, Xbox 360, Windows Phone, and the soon to be released Surface tablet. There’s also talk of support for iOS and Android devices, but no release date has been set for that. At launch the following media will be supported:
Games:
- Ascend
- Dance Central 3
- Forza Horizon
- Halo Waypoint
- Home Run Stars
- Karaoke
- Kinect Sesame Street TV
- Prima Games
Sports:
- ESPN
- NBA Game Time
- UFC
Entertainment Apps:
- Elections 2012
- HBO GO
- MSN
- NBC News
- NOW TV
- Slacker Radio
- TODAY
- Univision
