XboxEvent.com Domain Registered, Rumors Suggest April

Now that Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 4, it’s time for Microsoft to show their hand. And a recently registered domain, “XboxEvent.com,” indicates Microsoft is gearing up for their own reveal.

According to WHOIS data, XboxEvent.com was registered yesterday by Eventcore, an event planning company formally known as U.S. Techs. The guys and gals at NeoGaf learned that U.S. Techs is the company responsible for registereing XboxE312.com (the website Microsoft used to host their press briefing signups for last year’s E3) and Microsoft’s 2013 Hosting Summit site.

Right now, rumor on the Web is that Microsoft’s next Xbox will be revealed in April. One thing’s for sure, though: they certainly need to do something in response to Sony’s PlayStation Meeting 2013, prior to E3.
