XSEED Bringing Way of the Samurai 4 To North America
Posted on April 4, 2012 AT 04:21pm
THE BUZZ: XSEED has been on a role of acquisitions as of late, and today they’ve announced their latest upcoming title: Way of the Samurai 4.
EGM’s TAKE: Indeed—the latest chapter of Spike and Acquire’s Way of the Samurai series is coming Stateside thanks to the publisher. No exact release date or pricing announced just yet, but it was confirmed to be a digital-only release via the PlayStation Store. Sure, some people will be sad that there will be no physical release to purchase—but if the choices are “digital only” or “not coming over”, the choice is clear every time.
Not sure why you should be curious about Way of the Samurai 4? How about this tidbit about the game from XSEED Localization Specialist Tom Lipschultz:
Torture chambers, naughty midnight missions in the dark and all the brutal slaughtering you can handle await in this riveting and 100% historically accurate (shhhh!) sandbox-style samurai period drama.
