Xseed Games, a publisher that specializes in the localization and distribution of JRPGs, is being rebranded as “Marvelous USA” after acquiring Atlus Online.
“Marvelous USA unifies our US operations under the global Marvelous brand while giving our customers topnotch products and support for both traditional and online social and mobile games,” said CEO Shinichi Suzuki. “Our Xseed Games console and PC brand will continue to offer the quality games and service for which it is known, and Marvelous Online gives us expanded reach into mobile and online social gaming markets.”
Marvelous USA, under the management of localization specialist and vice-president Ken Berry, will continue handling localization and distribution of JRPGs for PC, console, and handheld platforms.
Marvelous Online, meanwhile, will deal with the company’s mobile and online scene, headed by senior director Tatsuya Nishioka.
Both Marvelous Online and Marvelous USA will be overseen by Xseed president and CEO Shinichi Suzuki.
