Playtonic Games is hard at work on the next update for its platformer, Yooka-Laylee.

Yooka-Laylee has been in the wild for two whole weeks and we’ve been positively overchuffed by the response from fans and backers around the world! We’ve very much enjoyed reading your feedback, lurking on your livestreams and absorbing your lovely comments, so thanks again for the support! It’s been emotional,” the developer wrote.

“Thanks to you lot, some 20 developers remain off the streets, mostly fed and in a stronger position than ever to continue creating colourful, personality-plump adventures! But first… we’ve got some spit ‘n’ polish to deploy.”

According to the developer, the update will add the option to skip dialogue faster, bypass cutscenes, and reduce “those pesky gibberish voices.” As well as this, there will be “a sprinkling of design polish throughout the adventure,” such as camera changes. More details about the update will be shared in the coming weeks.

Yooka-Laylee is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
