Watch Dogs

Anyone that missed out on Watch Dogs 2‘s launch this past November can try the game out for free during its upcoming free trial event.

Announced on the UbiBlog, the free trial will allow gamers to play Watch Dogs 2 for up to three hours, which can be enjoyed in intervals or all at once. Gamers can download the trial starting January 17th on PlayStation 4, with the Xbox One download beginning January 24th. There’s no mention of a PC trial.

The trial will give players full access to all single-player and multiplayer features. For those who are sold on the experience and decide to purchase the full game, all progress gained in the trial will transfer over.

While the PC crowd is seemingly left out of the free trial, they did recently receive a performance boost for the game.

Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
