PlayStation 4

If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, the amount of cloud storage space you have has just gotten 10 times larger.

This month marked a few changes in the PlayStation Plus system. It’s the last month that PlayStation 3 and PS Vita players will get any free games to download, since only PlayStation 4 games will be offered going forward. However, all members get one huge benefit as a trade. The amount of cloud storage allotted to each subscriber has just been bumped up from 10 GB to 100 GB.

That’s a huge increase, and should give players plenty of space to store all the save files they want for easy transfer between consoles. For most players, it’s far more space than they’ll ever need. Even when accounting for games with large save file sizes or multiple saves, worries about save file storage should be over from now on.

Don’t forget to take advantage of February’s free games, which include For Honor and Hitman: The Complete First Season for PlayStation 4 players and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PlayStation 3 players. Check out the full list here.
