Chicago Bulls fans can take solace in the cover art for NBA 2K13, which features a hale, healthy Derrick Rose, alongside NBA All-Stars Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin. At least in the video game world, Derrick Rose has fully recovered from his torn ACL, and can apparently leap across the court just fine.

Granted, this cover has a disturbing lack of Jeremy Lin, but we can still dream.

2K Sports’ three-man cover theme is a carryover from last year, when the stellar NBA 2K12 featured three NBA legends in Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson.

Most importantly, this is the third game in the NBA 2K series (since NBA 2K10) to not feature Kobe Byrant. And at the end of the day, I think that’s the most important thing we can all take away from this.
