Following a last-minute delay last year, NIS America has announced a new release date for the PC version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.
The game was originally scheduled to release on the same day as the PlayStation 4 and Vita versions of September 12th, but was pushed back to improve gameplay quality. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will now arrive on PC on January 30th, 2018. However, for those who can’t wait until then, a beta test will be held before the game launches. Anyone interested can sign up here.
As an added bonus, until February 6th, PC owners will be able to download a digital mini art book, a digital soundtrack sample, Laxia’s “Eternian Scholar” costume, and the Adol’s Adventure Essentials DLC, which includes Adol’s Silver Armor, Adol’s Adventurer Clothes, and Adol’s Survival Kit.
Finally, NIS America announced that a localization update will be released for all versions of the game on the same day as the PC release that includes improvements to the game’s script, adjustments to graphical text, and re-recorded audio.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is available now on PlayStation 4 and Vita.
