Bandai Namco has revealed that Yugi Muto from Yu-Gi-Oh! will be playable in Jump Force.

Yu-Gi-Oh!’s story takes place in a world where a card game: Duel Monsters, is one of the largest aspects of everyday life. The game can bring fortune and fame to its champions, or demise to those less fortunate,” the publisher explains.

Information regarding Yugi’s powers and abilities in the game will be shared in the future.

Yugi will join characters from Bleach, Dragon Ball, Hunter X Hunter, Naruto, One Piece, and Death Note in the upcoming fighting game. However, the characters from Death Note will not be playable, as they are deemed too powerful.

Jump Force is scheduled to release in 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Note: We have corrected the spelling of Yugi Muto’s name in the article.
