The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, originally released for Game Boy Color 12 years ago, will come to the 3DS Virtual Console outside of Japan “before summer,” says series producer Eiji Aonuma.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages are now out in Japan,” Aonuma posted to the Wii U’s Miiverse. “Our plan is to release these two games in other territories some time before summer!”

The complementary Zelda titles could link together on Game Boy Color to unlock secrets and share content, not unlike Pokémona feature that will be included in the 3DS Virtual Console release, too.
