THE BUZZ: After the official reveal of Black Ops 2 yesterday, many were left wondering about a zombies mode.
Treyarch confirmed during Activision’s One of Swords feature (below) that zombies will be included in the game.
“If you like zombies you’re going to be really happy with what we’re doing with Black Ops 2,” said Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia. ”It’s our biggest, most ambitious zombies ever.”
Lamia didn’t go into any details about the mode, but promised that they, “are really pushing the boundaries on multiplayer.”
You can check out the official reveal trailer here.
EGM’s TAKE: Ever since Call of Duty: World at War, Zombies have become Treyarch’s defining Call of Duty feature. Something that Infinity Ward hasn’t tried to replicate. Killing zombies captivated the hearts of Call of Duty fans worldwide, and now the number one question for any Treyarch entry is, does it have zombies? Well yes it does. Quite what it will do this time around is unknown, however given the success of the feature you can expect the development team to be given more freedom, in order to make the mode even better.
