Batman

Animator “TerminalMontage” has crafted a hilarious version of Batman, showing exactly what the Dark Knight would look like in the world of Pokémon. Needless to say, it’s extremely violent, but oddly fitting for the subject matter.

Frame by frame, the entire video is a direct homage to Batman: The Animated Series, the award-winning cartoon written mainly by scribe Paul Dini, who kicked off the “Diniverse” of DC Comics.

For the author’s part, he sums up the video thusly:

He’s the hero Kanto needs. But not the one it deserves.

There’s a lot of small things that make the video come together, such as the two Team Rocket mooks robbing Celadon City’s Pokémon Center—because I guess the city’s head trainer, Gym Leader Erika doesn’t work nights—and the Zubatmobile kicking off its engine with a Supersonic attack.

Feel free to check out the video below, and give TerminalMontage’s YouTube page a visit while you’re at it. His video feed is filled with original animated content, such as the popular NoPUNintendo series and other parody animations.
