Zynga Unleashed Announces ChefVille Is Heading To Facebook
Posted on June 26, 2012 AT 12:28pm
Zynga’s long-running Ville series is getting another thematic addition to the roster, as the social gaming giant announced the launch of ChefVille during Zynga Unleashed 2012. Purportedly, the game will task players with cooking via real recipes that can also be used to prepare meals in real-life.
Judging by the screenshots on the game’s official Facebook page, players will be rated by customers on the meals that they prepare, with more advanced cooking techniques unlocking more expensive cuisine. Various types of restaurants will be featured in the game, with the first examples showcasing open-air grills, retro-style diners, and Tuscan villas.
Just imagine the updates to your Facebook feed now.
Zynga’s Ville series has been actively spreading across the Internet ever since the release of YoVille in 2008 and FarmVille in 2009. Although the developer is frequently accused of stealing ideas from smaller independent studios, the Ville series alone registers activity from roughly tens of millions of active users every month.
