No Prestige Edition For Modern Warfare 3

THE BUZZ: Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist for Infinity Ward, has announced that their will be no Prestige Edition for Modern Warfare 3.
Since the contents of the Hardened Edition of the game were revealed, fans have been wondering what the Prestige Edition will include. Who can blame them, considering that Modern Warfare 2 included working night vision goggles and Black Ops included a RC-XD video surveillance vehicle. Sadly Bowling announced on twitter:
“The Hardened Edition of #MW3 will be the only collectors edition available this year.”
EGM’s TAKE: The lack of a Prestige Edition is a blow to fans but it makes sense from a business point of view, considering the price of these editions and the state of the economy.
