DayZ project leader David Hall and production assistant Matt Lightfoot have released the first video blog for the standalone version of the game.

This new video details the differences between the mod and standalone versions of the game. There’s an upgraded menu system, new clothing, new loot spawn system. The video also showcases the new maps that will be added to the standalone version.

The standalone version of DayZ is still in the very early stages and is yet to receive an official release date.
