Jagex has released the first gameplay footage of the upcoming Transformers Universe browser-based MMO.

The game allows players to choose the side of either the Autobots or Decepticons and fits in with the Prime timeline, the same one as the War for Cybertron games and Transformers: Prime Cartoon. Transformers Universe will be a free-to-play title using micro-transactions and is being developed using an improved version of the RuneScape engine.
