THE BUZZ: Team Fortress 2 is getting its second annual holiday themed update with ”Australian Christmas.”  The update features two new class packs for the Engineer and Pyro designed by Weta Workshop’s Greg Broadmore. Along with the class packs, the update will bring with it 14 new holiday theme weapons, hats and cosmetic items.

Additionally, over 50 items in the Mann Co. in-game store will be on sale for up to 75% until January 2. All of this on top of an in-game item drop rate that will double for the first week of the event.

EGM’s TAKE: Developers take note, once again Valve is showing the rest of the industry how to update your game and keep the good will of their fan base going. Nothing says Happy Holidays like a taking a shotgun to the gut while your opponent prances away wearing a Prince Tavish’s Crown.
